The days that follow Birchboxes landing on doorsteps nationwide are filled with great feedback from YOU – our amazing community – and we really love reading your comments, tweets, blog posts and seeing your pictures. Here are just a few highlights from June so far:
Beauty blogger The Sunday Girl thinks the June Global Strikers Birchbox is “one heck of a box and the products are from all over the world as a nod to the world cup!” She was most excited to get a beautyblender®, “which comes complete with a solid soap to cleanse the sponge after use and I finally see what the fuss about… it seamlessly blends foundation out and is nothing short of magical.” She was also keen to try the Silk + Honey Shea Butter Hair Mask, “a deeply nourishing hair mask – perfect for coloured or bleached hair that is parched.”
Carly from BeautySauce was thrilled to see the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré in her box, which she’d been using for weeks “I spotted Lisa Eldridge use this when I was backstage during fashion week. It’s recommended by dermatologists and lets face it, the French know how to create effective skincare. This particular product soothes, moisturises, hydrates and can be used as a cleanser or mask. Talk about multi-tasking!” She also mentioned “It’s no secret that I love Caudalie…” and that she uses the Divine Oil sampled for “Naomi Campbell-esque limbs”.
Beauty blogger Raspberry Kiss thought the June box was “another hit” and although she wasn’t a footy girl herself, she “loved the summery theme and adores trying products inspired from various other parts of the world.” She loved the OPI Nail Lacquer from their latest Brazil collection, which she planned “on painting my toes with tonight ready for some sandal wearing.”
Joey from A Secret Shopaholic had a little helper with her un-boxing this month – her adorable puppy Juno – who seemed particularly taken with our Birchbox Brazil-inspired flip flip keyring! Joey’s star item was the beautyblender®, which made her “squeal in delight”. She also noted that she was looking for a new SPF so was happy to test-drive COOLA’s Classic Face which “feels light and refreshing.”
